The 3rd Annual Puengen Minagof event, sponsored by the University of Guam CHamoru language classes, features an evening of CHamoru Christmas songs, buñelos, cultural demonstrations and a latte competition.
The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5 at the UOG Humanities and Social Science Building atrium. The event is free and open to the public.
The Isla Center for the Arts at the University of Guam is proud to announce the opening of the exhibition Creative Hands: Selected Works by Local Artists beginning on November 20, 2014 and running through January 30, 2015. Opening reception will be held on Thursday, November 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Isla Center for the Arts is located at House #15, Dean's Circle on the University of Guam campus.
The University of Guam Division of Social Work, Women and Gender Studies and the Chamorro Studies Program are hosting a Sexual Harassment Public Forum at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, at the CLASS Lecture Hall. The event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Ronnie Alexander, a professor at Kobe University in Japan.
