Call for Inachá’igen Fino’ CHamoru 2013
Judges
Inachá’igen Fino’
CHamoru 2013 is now accepting applications from the Guam and the
Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas communities who wish to judge in the
upcoming competition. Download the Judges Application Form, complete and submit
to Dr. Faye Untalan AND Siñora Rosa
Salas Palomo. Applications may be faxed, emailed or dropped off on or before
the established deadline. Please do not mail applications.
Change of Elementary and Secondary School
Coordinator
The Coordinator for the Elementary Schools is
now Siñora Teresita C. Flores and the Coordinator for the Secondary Schools is
Siñora Rufina F. Mendiola. Siñora Rosa Salas Palomo is the Coordinator for the
Middle Schools. Submit your information directly to the designated school level
coordinator AND to Siñora Palomo,
the Inachá’igen
Fino’ CHamoru 2013 Over-all Coordinator.
Reminder: Intent to Participate and
Competition Genres Participation Forms Due
This is a reminder to all teachers and coaches
that the Intent to Participate and Competition Genres Participation forms
are due on Friday, January 25, 2013 to your designated grade level coordinator:
Rufina F. Mendiola for Secondary Schools
Rosa Salas Palomo for Middle Schools
Teresita C. Flores for Elementary Schools

Competition Rules and Regulations. Forms are on the UOG website.

Revised Spelling Lists K-2 and 3 - 5
The K-2 and 3-5 word listings were revised on January 18,
2013 and is now posted. Please use these listings in the preparation of
students for the Spelling/Dinilitreha competition.
Poetry Recitation/Rinisådan Po’ema piece on
website
The piece for use by both middle and high
school competitors is now on the website. The poem was written by Siñot Manuel
and Joaquin Flores Duenas. Competitors must delete ONE stanza of the poem. The stanza to be deleted should be decided
upon by the student and the coach or teacher. Only one stanza can be deleted consisting of 6 lines.
