How many people per class?
Class sizes are limited to 15 students per class. Larger groups will be split into two or more classes.
How do you evaluate students’ English abilities to place them in the appropriate class?
Each student is interviewed and tested by our instructors to determine the most appropriate level and class for them.
Do participants receive certificates when they finish the program?
Yes, they will receive a University of Guam certificate from the English Language Institute.
What is a typical daily schedule?
Monday through Thursday: 9:00 - 12:00, 1:00 - 2:30
Friday: 10:00 - 12:00
Do you offer activities after class?
There
are monthly "Social Activities" offered to the students. These
activities are good opportunities for the students to practice English
in a casual setting while developing friendships with the other students

The book and supply fees are not included in the tuition payment.
Do you have food services available at the University and what is the cost?
The University’s cafeteria offers breakfast and lunch meals.
Do you make hotel accommodations?
No,
we do not handle hotel accommodations, but we can make suggestions
depending on your budget and hotel preference. There are a number of
hotels that can accommodate any budget.
Do you arrange airport pickup and other transportation?
No,
you will have to arrange for airport pickup service and other
transportation. We can connect you with various transportation services
or you can obtain this information from the Guam Visitors Bureau.
How long does it take to get to the University of Guam from Tumon, the tourist hub?
It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get from Tumon to Mangilao, where the University of Guam is located.
Do I need a Visa to enroll in the program?
The
Guam Visa Waiver program is applicable for Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese,
and Hong Kong visitors for a limited time period. Honk Kong citizens
must have a British National Overseas passport. Students applying for
the 14-week program must apply for a student (F-1) visa from their
respective U.S. Consulate Office. The Visa Waiver Program requirements
are:
• Japan: Up to 90 days.
• Korea and Taiwan: Up to 15 days.
• Hong Kong: Up to 15 days. (With BNO passport)

平均一班有幾個學生？
限定最多15人為一個班級，若超過人數則會拆成兩班以上班級。
你們如何評估學生的程度好讓他們進入適當的班級？
我們將會需要從學生的英文程度來作一個初步的評估，基於此才能為學生製作學習計畫。而最簡易的方式就是詢問每個學生，他們認為自己能力的級別是初級、中級、還是高級。
而當學生抵達關島來註冊，並進入他們第一堂課，主任也會以其他非官方的考試來安置學生於恰當的班級。
我希望我們能夠學習英文聽、說、讀、寫的技能，並也期望課程內包含關島和該區域的文化。你們能將這些都排入課程之中嗎？可以的，我們將會合併關島文化性以及區域性的資料，以及查莫羅文化融入課程之中。
每天／每週要上多少個小時的英文課程呢？
每天4小時，每週20小時。
當完成課程時，學生會收到相關課程的證書嗎？
會的，學生將會收到由關島大學ELI核發的相關證書。
每天標準的課程表為何？
以英文課程標準的排程為：週一～週五，08:30 - 12:30
若我還想要在我的課程表裡加入額外的文化或體育活動呢？
標準的英文+活動表為下：
週一~週五，08:30 - 12:30
週一~週五，12:30 - 01:30（午休時間）
之一~週五，01:30 - 05:30（文化與體育活動）
＊文化與體育活動的費用不包含在英文課程裡，須另行自費參與。
我應該在我的課程表排一些自由活動的時間嗎？
大多數的人都只想在一週裡排一天的活動，我們會建議安排一個環島之旅、購物之旅或是文化之旅。而排一個文化之旅在你的下午課程裡可以讓學生有時間參觀和欣賞這個小島。
你們會提供課外活動嗎？
學生必須自行連絡旅行社來安排一些下午的課外活動。
這個教學系統的費用如何計算？
5天，每天4個小時的課程，共20小時金額為美金$225.00
10天，每天4個小時的課程，共40小時金額為美金$450.00
你們可以更改系統內容來滿足我們的需求嗎？
可以的，如果你想要一個不同的課表，我們可以開新的選修課表。1到3天的課程的可以滿足你的需求，但請注意我們週末時不提供任何課程。
有其他任何的費用嗎？
書本和其他費用都已經包含在費用裡，學生的證書個須花費美金$2.00，學生也須個別繳交美金$10.00以確保他們在需要時可以使用學校的醫護系統。其他保險的費用須由您的保險公司來作安排。
在大學裡有提供飲食的服務嗎？多少錢？
大學部裡有開設自助餐聽，提供早餐和午餐。每樣餐點介於美金$3.00至$5.00之間。較大團體的組合套餐可以另外安排。
你們有代訂飯店服務嗎？
沒有，我們沒有經手飯店預定服務，但我們可以為你的預算和喜好來作建議。這裡有很多可以接受任何預算的飯店。
你們有安排機場接機服務或是安排其他交通工具嗎?
沒有，你將會需要自行安排機場接機服務或其他交通工具。我們可以給你各個各種運輸服務的電話，或您可以從關島旅遊獲得其他資訊。
從關島大學到杜夢旅遊中心需要多長的時間？
從Tumon到Mangilao（關島大學所在地）需要20~30分鐘。
我需要學生簽證來註冊這個學習系統嗎？
使用免簽證專案進到關島的日本、韓國、台灣吉香港的訪客可以在時限內參與課程，而香港公民則必須持有英國公民海外護照。學生若要申請14週的學習系統，必須先從他們國家的美國領事館申請F1學生簽證。免簽證專案的要求如下：
· 日本：可達90天
· 韓國及台灣：可達15天
· 香港：可達15天（持有英國公民護照
