Direct Deposit available soon!
Beginning in Fall 2013, students will have the option of receiving their excess financial aid funds through direct deposit. This added convenience will mean the end of waiting in line at the business office for your check.

The William Marmie Micronesian 
Studies Scholarship

The William Marmie Micronesian Studies Scholarship is awarded to one or more students admitted to the Micronesian Studies Master of Arts Program at the University of Guam. 

Eligible Scholarship Recipients.  All scholarship applicants must meet the following qualifications:

1.The applicant must be enrolled full-time at the University of Guam.

2.The applicant must have an overall 2.5 grade point average at the University of Guam or the last attended institution of learning at the time of his or her application for the scholarship, and he or she must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 throughout the scholarship period.

3.The applicant must continue to be a student in good standing at the University of Guam during the scholarship period.

4.The applicant must be a resident of Guam, the Freely Associated States (Republic of the Marshall Islands; Federated States of Micronesia; Republic of Palau), or the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands.

5.Must submit at least one letter of recommendation.

Deadline to submit application is 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013.

The Federation of Pangasinanses on Guam
 

The Federation of Pangasinanses on Guam is sponsoring $500.00 scholarships for full-time undergraduate students attending the University of Guam for the Fall 2013 Semester.

 

Eligible Scholarship Recipients.  All scholarship applicants must meet the following qualifications:

 

1.     The applicant must be a U.S. Citizen.

2.     The applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student.

3.     The applicant must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.

 

Amount of Scholarship.  The amount of the scholarship each year shall be $500. Total number of scholarships to be determined by the organization.
 
Deadline to apply is Friday at 12:00p.m. (noon), August 30, 2013
 
 


 
MARC 2013 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The University of Guam’s Richard Flores Taitano Micronesian Area Research Center will offer up to two scholarships of up to $3,000 annually. The source of these funds will be from the MARC Scholarship and Programs fund at the UOG Endowment Foundation.

Purpose: The purpose of the scholarship is to assist deserving students, to recognize superior performance, and to identify potential scholars of the region.

Eligibility: The eligibility requirements are:

      1)   Be currently enrolled in the UOG Micronesian Studies M.A. program.

      2)   Have a graduate level GPA of 3.00.

      3)   Have a form A‐99 in progress with the Program Chair’s signature.

      4)   Priority will be given to applicants who have not previously received a MARC Scholarship.

Applications are due to the Financial Aid Office by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

 Dr. Rebecca A. Stephenson Award
 

The primary purpose of this award fund is to provide one or more annual grant-in-aid to honor outstanding students in majors of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, based on the student’s declaration of one or more significant achievements which deserves notice and merit. 

 

Eligible Scholarship Recipients.  All scholarship applicants must meet the following qualifications:

 

1.     The applicant must be enrolled full-time at the University of Guam.

2.     The applicant must be in good standing at the University of Guam.

3.     The applicant must continue to be a student in good standing at the University of Guam during the scholarship period.

4.     The applicant’s major must fall under the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS)

5.     The award is open to all qualified University of Guam students from all nations around the world.

 The Guam Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) - Charlie Corn Scholarship
 

The Guam Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is currently accepting applications for its 2013 – 2014 Charlie Corn Scholarship Awards. 

The Charlie Corn Scholarship is to assist in the development of engineering and architectural talent in Guam and Micronesia.  After graduation, applicants must be planning on returning to Guam or Micronesia to begin their professional career.

Applications must be received by the close of business (5:00PM) on April 26, 2013.  See application for details.
