Submission Guidelines

Pacific Rim Online Journal of Education welcomes innovative research, articles, essays, book reviews, software reviews, case studies and reviews of best teaching practices.The journal encourages the use of a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches.

Educational professionals, graduate students, and members of the educational community are encouraged to submit manuscripts which may contribute to the field. As this is an online journal, submissions may include video and audio clips which are appropriate to the topic. It is anticipated that all manuscripts which discuss best teaching practices will have appropriate video clips. Authors should obtain formal permission from all participants in video and audio clips.

Blind Review Policy

All manuscripts are reviewed by at least, two referees using the standard blind review procedures.The journal accepts all manuscripts with the understanding that they have not been previously published elsewhere and are not currently under consideration for publication. Published manuscripts become the property of Pacific Rim Online Journal of Education, and no part of a manuscript may be published elsewhere without the permission of both the author and the Editor. All opinions expressed in Pacific Rim Online Journal of Education are the responsibility of the author(s).

Deadlines

There are no formal deadlines for submission. Manuscripts will be evaluated and, if recommended, published in the next available edition. The Pacific Rim Online Journal of Education is published online in October, January, April and July.
