Dr. John Sanchez is an Associate Professor in the Educational Foundations unit. He teaches the following Undergraduate courses: ED110 Introduction to Teaching ED192 Observation & Participation ED201 Human Growth and Development ED300 Educational Psychology ED489 Evaluation.
He also is Graduate Faculty member, and teaches: ED601 Research Methods ED690 Overview ED695 Thesis
Dr. Sanchez is a product of the Guam Public School system as well as an alumnus from the University of Guam. He worked for 15 years in the Guam Public School System as a teacher, counselor and administrator. He has been a faculty member of the School of Education since 2001.
John’s research interests include cross-cultural studies as well as vocational interests of Guam’s high school students. His most recent publication is a joint article with Dr. Catherine Stoicovy “Web Based Portfolios for a Diverse Student Body in Higher Education: One School of Education’s Journey”. He is the LIVETEXT coordinator for the school and co-hosts a Saturday morning radio talk show “Chalk Talk” on K57 radio. |
