Mentorship Program

The Mentorship Program has been created to help incoming and current cadets with the rigors of ROTC training. The program is setup to pair new and current cadets with senior cadets in order to facilitate their success in the ROTC Program. The format for the Mentorship Program is as follows:

• Cadre will mentor MSIV/V
• MSIV/V will mentor MSII
• MSIII will mentor MSI

The Mentorship Program is setup to allow cadets to ask their mentors to help them improve their skills as they pertain to all ROTC training: Physical Training (PT), Troop Leading Procedures (TLPs), Warning Order (WARNO)/Operations Order Writing (OPORD), Land Navigation, Customs and Courtesies just to name a few subjects. Overall, the program is setup to ensure the success of each cadet as they progress through their time in the ROTC Program.

To ensure each cadet is mentored, a roster will be created at the beginning of the semester and that will be the mentee’s assigned mentor for the duration of their ROTC career or until their mentor graduates, then one of the cadre will take over as mentor.
