Procurement in Business and Government Lecture at UOG
Steven L. Schooner, the Nash & Cibinic Professor of Government Procurement Law and Co-Director of the Government Procurement Law Program at George Washington University will present "Procurement in Business and Government"
during the UOG School of Business and Public Administration speaker series on Tuesday, June 28 at 10:30 a.m. The presentation will be held in the IT&E Lecture Hall, Jesus & Eugenia Leon Guerrero Business and Public Administration Building on the University of Guam Campus. The lecture is free of charge and open to the public.
Professor Schooner's presentation focuses on private business and public administration procurement processes, the benefits of a procurement institute for Guam, professionalism in procurement, procurement curriculum, and information about procurement careers. International Conference on Business, Economics and Information Technology
The University of Guam, Penn State Altoona, and Nagoya University host the International Conference on Business, Economics and Information Technology February 28 – March 1 at the Outrigger Hotel in Tumon.
The conference features presentations and case studies by scholars and graduate students from Guam, Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam and a variety of U.S. states including Nevada, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.
The keynote speaker is Gerry Perez, general manager of the Guam Visitors Bureau, who will give a presentation entitled International Business and Commerce in the New Global Paradigm. The deadline to register for the conference is February 21st
