AMA - American Marketing Association - Student Chapter
The AMA is a student organization under the College of Business and Public Administration established to give marketing students and those interested experience in the business field. AMA members throughout the years have been involved in many activities that have given them valuable experience. Many of the previous members are now working professionals in the business community.
Mission: To allow members to apply marketing skills in and out of the classroom and to increase the awareness of marketing's importance in business and in life.
Objectives:
(1) To enhance AMA's interaction and relationships with the local business community
(2) To create cohesion with other CBPA student organizations
(3) To build new membership
The University of Guam American Marketing Association was established in 1996 under the supervision of Professor Terrie O'Brien. Throughout the years the club has worked together with many local businesses that have contributed generously to help our organization grow. Today, many of the club's alumni have very impressive positions in the business community. Such business include Matson Navigation, Guam Visitors Bureau, Foremost, Glimpses of Guam, and Outrigger Hotel, to name a few.
Investment Club
The Investment Club offers members the chance to learn more about investing, economics, the stock market, and many other topics related to gaining financial independence.
The organization will achieve this by way of two means:

Presentations from guest lecturers with expertise in banking, investments, finance, and retirement planning

A simulation of real and rational investments through a stock market simulation game and a cash flow game.
Mission:
To provide members with a diversity of resources that will facilitate the understanding of economics, finance, and investments.

JAS - Junior Accountants Society - Student Chapter
The Junior Accountants Society (JAS) club is a student organization under the School of Business and Public Administration and provides its members the exposure to the wide range of available careers in the accounting field. The JAS Club coordinates company tours with private and/or public organizations every semester to explore possible careers in the business area. Many of the previous members are now employed with the leading accounting firms on Guam.
Mission:
To promote the accounting profession in the university and to assist its members in learning the different aspects of accounting by arranging various activities and involvement with professionals, faculty, and peers.
Objectives:

To promote accounting as a major in the School of Businessand Public Administration through a massive information campaign focusing on the bright prospects awaiting accounting graduates.

To enhance academic excellence for its members by encouraging the sharing of knowledge and ideas.

To foster social and civic consciousness through active involvement in community services and participation in projects of non-profit social organizations.
The JAS club, formerly known as the University of Guam Accounting Club, was established in 1990, headed by Professor John Phillips. JAS was chartered under the AGA, Association of Government Accountants—Guam Chapter. JAS is affiliated with GAA, Guam Accountants Society.
