are pleased to present the first in a series of workshops on local produce.
** Get more veggies in your diet by learning how to cook and grow them at home!
Eggplant, or birenghenas, is a fruit available year-round on Guam. Take advantage of this abundant, fresh, and affordable produce through different recipes and learn how to grow your own!
Workshop topics include: Home food prep safety, world food traditions using eggplant, cooking demos (three dishes), and home eggplant gardening. You will be able to take home recipe cards for ten dishes and also sample some dishes.

Space is limited and pre-payment by cash or check is required.
Participants 12 and older are welcome, and everyone is expected to assist with kitchen clean-up. Produce and cooking equipment are included in the class fee.
