UOG theater closes the Spring semester with The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman. This is the story of Matthew Shepard, a gay University of Wyoming student who was, robbed, beaten, tied to a fence and left to die. This hate crime ignited a fiery debate that tore the small town of Laramie, Wyoming apart and sparked national and international debate about gay rights and gender identity.
Performances will be held at the UOG Fine Arts Theater at 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday April 27-30 and Saturday & Sunday 2pm matinee Feb. 4 & 5. Box office opens at 6:30 p.m. for evening performances and 1:30 p.m. for matinee performances.
General admission is $10.00. Student and Senior admission is $7.50. UOG/GCC Student admission is FREE With valid student I.D. or class schedule. Tickets can be purchased at the box office on show nights.
