UOG Unveils Literary Journal Storyboard 14

Writers and Artists from across the Pacific Featured

The University of Guam’s Division of English and Applied Linguistics recently unveiled the fourteenth issue of its literary journal, Storyboard, on Wednesday, May 21 at Guma' TASA in Mangilao. The journal features a compelling collection of poetry, prose, graphic art and photography from writers and artists from our region and other Pacific Islands.

“Gold bangles jingle against the violence of West Papua, drum beats surround an individual's pain, neighbor islands lie as sisters cradled by the mother sea, a Saipan jungle becomes a space to find more than donne'," writes co-editor Carol Simpson Warner in the introduction to this new volume of work.

The writers and artists featured in Storyboard 14 will be present at the book launch to share and discuss their work. Copies of the current and past issues of Storyboard are available for purchase.

For more information, please contact UOG's English Department office at 735-2725 or email editors@storyboardjournal.org.
