GTA TeleGuam Pledged $200K to UOG’s Capital Campaign
Mangilao, Guam – Robert W. Haulbrook, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer, committed $200,000.00 on behalf of GTA TeleGuam to UOG’s 60th Anniversary Capital Campaign yesterday at 11:00 a.m., at the University of Guam President’s Conference Room. UOG President Robert A. Underwood and UOG Endowment Foundation Board Chairman David John and Executive Director Mark Mendiola accepted GTA TeleGuam’s donation on behalf of the University community.
“GTA fully supports the University of Guam and its mission to serve its learners and the community by providing the resources necessary to develop and grow Guam’s workforce,” Mr. Haulbrook said. “In fact, many of our GTA employees are products of the University of Guam and continue to grow within the company through higher education provided at UOG.”
Other GTA TeleGuam representatives in attendance yesterday included the following: Andrew Gayle, Chief Operating Officer Daniel J. Tydingco, Executive Vice President of External and Legal Affairs Rose Ayuyu Morales, Vice President of People Jennifer Sgambelluri, Sales Director, Local Government Market Michelle Catahay, Marketing and Communications Specialist
“We're very appreciative of GTA’s commitment,” said Mr. Mendiola. “Their contribution to UOG speaks volumes in terms of their commitment to higher education on Guam.”
Through their donation, GTA TeleGuam will be acknowledged as a “21st-Century Visionary” in the Triton Developers program, a fundraising strategy designed to attract different levels of support which can be spread over five years of the capital campaign.
“As corporate citizens and a company listed among the island’s top 10 employers, we believe that investing in the University of Guam will benefit our community and our people well into the future,” Mr. Haulbrook said. “We look forward to seeing great improvements at the University of Guam and are happy to be a part of this endeavor.”
“It’s the Thanksgiving season, and we are very grateful to all that have given to UOG to date,” Mr. Mendiola said. From left to right: David John, Daniel J. Tydingco, Mark Mendiola, President Robert A. Underwood, Robert W. Haulbrook, Jr., Andrew Gayle, Jennifer Sgambelluri, and Rose Ayuyu Morales |
