UOG Commences Annual Math Competition

Break out your calculators and sharpen your pencils! The University of Guam Division of Mathematical Sciences has launched its Annual Math Contest with the first set of problems posted atwww.uog.edu/mathematics.

The contest will be held monthly from December 2012 through March 2013. Winners will be announced each month, and overall winners will be announced in April 2013.  Challenge your mathematical mind and log on to www.uog.edu/mathematics to view the problems. Solutions for the December contest are due December 31, 2012.

Solutions must be submitted by email to uog_math@yahoo.com. Only email submissions will be accepted, and all submissions must include the words "Math Contest" in the subject line of the email. In the body of the email please include your name, mailing address, school, and grade.
