The University of Guam Professional and International Programs Office welcomes more than 250 students from six Korean and four Japanese universities to campus this summer to participate in the short term English Adventure Program.
Students are focusing on language acquisition skills as well as cultural activities through July, August, and September. While on campus, foreign students learn about U.S and Guam cultures and connect with UOG students from the International Friendship Club. They also go on various excursions around the island to enjoy all that Guam has to offer.
The written drivers examinations held at UOG and originally scheduled for Friday afternoon, July 11 have been rescheduled for Wednesday afternoon, July 16. Test takers are advised to arrive at their originally scheduled examination time. For more information, call 735-2600.
On June 23-26 the University of Guam’s Professional and International Programs in conjunction with AHRD performed a 32 workshop for 200 students from GDOE. The Program entitled “Classroom to Careers” workshop gave the students 32 hours of training to prepare them for employment.
