250 University Students from Korea And Japan Participate in UOG Summer English Program

The University of Guam Professional and International Programs Office welcomes more than 250 students from six Korean and four Japanese universities to campus this summer to participate in the short term English Adventure Program.

Students are focusing on language acquisition skills as well as cultural activities through July, August, and September. While on campus, foreign students learn about U.S and Guam cultures and connect with UOG students from the International Friendship Club. They also go on various excursions around the island to enjoy all that Guam has to offer.

Written Drivers Examinations at UOG Rescheduled for Wednesday, July 16

The written drivers examinations held at UOG and originally scheduled for Friday afternoon, July 11 have been rescheduled for Wednesday afternoon, July 16. Test takers are advised to arrive at their originally scheduled examination time. For more information, call 735-2600.

UOG PIP and AHRD Conduct Workshop

On June 23-26 the University of Guam’s Professional and International Programs in conjunction with AHRD performed a 32 workshop for 200 students from GDOE.  The Program entitled “Classroom to Careers” workshop gave the students 32 hours of training to prepare them for employment.

UOG SPORTS ADVENTURE CAMP STARTS MAY 19

UOG SPORTS ADVENTURE CAMP

The first session of the UOG Sports Adventure Camp begins May 19.

Children must be registered for session I by May 15 at 5PM at the UOG PIP Office.

The camp has four levels and activities are adapted to align with the various age-level skills and abilities.
