The University of Guam (UOG) recently received a $100,000 check from Take Care Insurance to support the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.
The money will help the continued operation and expansion of UOG's simulated laboratories for students. The lab areas give students a chance to practice nursing and health skills with models and mannequins.
The school recently purchased a fully-simulated birthing simulator with a mother and infant mannequin. The lab also includes a fully simulated male patient and computer systems to support the lab.
