Underwood to Speak at 67th Air Force Ball

University of Guam President Dr. Robert A. Underwood will be the featured speaker at the 67th Air Force Ball on September 13 at the Sheraton Laguan Guam Resort. The theme of the ball celebrates Guam's 70th Liberation Day and "The Dawn of Pacific Airpower on Guam." Dr. Underwood recently met with Brigadier General Andrew J. Toth, Commander, 36th Wing & Deputy Commander, Joint Region Marianas and other U.S. Air Force officials in the President's Conference Room at the UOG campus.

UOG Remains Open Today (Thursday, August 14, 2014)

The University of Guam will remain open today. Most of the UOG campus is not affected by the water outage announced by Guam Waterworks Authority this morning.

Affected areas include Dean's Circle and the Administration Building. Employees and visitors at Dean's Circle may use the facilities at the Agriculture and Life Sciences Building. Employees and visitors in the Administration Building may use the facilities in the Leon Guerrero School of Business & Public Administration Building.

Tango Theatres Extends "Ultimate G" Combo for August

Tango Theatres has extended the "Ultimate G Combo!" throughout the month of August!

RCUOG Regular Board Meeting August 8

The regular meeting of the Research Corporation of the University of Guam (RCUOG) will be held Friday, August 8 at 2:30PM in the President's Conference Room on the 2nd floor of the Jesus S. and Eugenia A. Leon Guerrero Building. The RCUOG complies with Guam Public Law 24-109 with reference to the provisions and requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. UOG Remembers Senator Ben Pangelinan

The University of Guam joins the island in mourning the tremendous loss of former legislative Speaker, Ben Pangelinan, who worked tirelessly for the island and her people as a senator for over two decades. The well-respected leader and statesman was a strong advocate for higher education and the efforts of the University to fulfill its mission. He was also a dear friend to many in the UOG community who worked closely with him over the years.
