Instructor, Elementary Education and MARC Editor
KishaBorja-Quichocho was recently hired as the Editor for the Micronesian Area Research Center and an instructor in the School of Education. She also teaches courses in the Division of English and Applied Linguistics.
She received a BA in English from Hawai'i Pacific University, an MA in Pacific Islands Studies from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, and an MA in Teaching from the University of Guam. Kishahas taught secondary level Language Arts courses in the GDOE.
Her research interests focus on Chamoruidentity, Pacific literature curriculum, and culturally relevant teaching. One interesting fact is that Kisha is also a host in the first Chamoru program for children called "Nihi!". She enjoys spending time with her daughter Lina'la'.
