Students
All Students receive IT access when their enrollment is certified. This access includes their Triton ID, which grants them access to their Office 365 GoTritons Student Email, WebAdvisor and Triton Portal. All official UOG correspondence is sent to a Student's official email address. Students are advised to check these accounts often to stay up to date with UOG's latest news and important announcements. Student downloadable information can be found here.

- Microsoft OneDrive with 1TB of storage.
- Microsoft Office 365 Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc) to create and share documents, spreadsheets and calendars with others.
- Access to your information from anywhere with an internet connection.

Student SmartCards
- Students may print up to 300 pages per semester.
- Students are allocated 100mb of personal storage per semester
- Students can customize their 4-16 digit PIN.
- Students are automatically logged out of computers upon card removal.

Email & Internet Service
- Send a request with the approval from the respective administrator (VP, Dean, Director) to the OIT/Computer Center for account setup.
- Make sure the necessary wiring connection in place (coordinate with Admin and Plant Management)
- Work station with necessary OS and software and network card (check with your Administrator and IT Coordinator)
Access of Web-based Services
- Send an application to HRO for registration
- Access will be setup by the OIT/Computer Center using HRO’s registration
Note: Access setup process will be run automatically at 3PM daily.
Wireless Access
Research & Statistical Analysis Packages
- SPSS is available on all OIT/Computer Center labs as well as other computer labs on campus.
- SAS in the central server is available for access. Send an application to the Center for SAS access setup.
Antivirus Software
- Antivirus software is available to all UOG Employees
- Submit a HelpDesk request and drop your computer to the OIT/Computer Center for servicing.

UOG VPN ACCESS
UOG VPN login credentials need to be obtained from the Office of Information Technology. To obtain credentials, submit a VPN request form along with the request form for VPN Credentials. Upon receiving login credentials, click on one of the download links below to download the VPN software to your computer.
