The UOG Office of Information Technology (OIT) is excited to present this year's theme for Charter Month and Tech Fest: "Tech's New Normal," where we will feature how technology is bridging people together, how it has encompassed education in Guam, and how it has sparked new hobbies during this pandemic.
As a special feature for the university's 53rd Charter Day, tune in to our week-long mini webinar series to learn about "Tech's New Normal" on Guam and get a chance at winning various prizes such as a gift cards to Triton Bookstore, Steam, Netflix, Google Play, Twitch, or a 1-year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud Suite! Our other prizes also include new webcams, keyboards or mouses! Must be present during our livestream to claim prizes!
The two previous Charter Days, we've hosted our annual Tech Fest; this year, we will be hosting a mini webinar series and a special contest as a teaser for something grand for our upcoming 3rd Annual Tech Fest over the summer.
We will be hosting two (2) sessions per day for most of the webinars, in case you're not able to make it to one of them. Prepare to answer some questions and mini activities from us during these sessions, we're giving out lots of prizes! You must be present to claim a prize!

We're accepting submissions for the Tech Fest 2021 T-Shirt Design Contest between
March 2, 2021 and March 27, 2021. The winning design will be printed on the official
Tech Fest 2021 T-Shirt to be released during Summer 2021.
All criteria listed below must be followed upon submitting your design entry; failure
to abide with our guidelines may be subject to disqualification. Should you have any

Depict the theme "Tech's New Normal," please refer to the About section to learn more about the theme.
Design must include the words "Tech Fest" AND/OR "Tech's New Normal".
Design will appear on the front of a solid-color shirt.
Design must be appropriate for the general public and should not tarnish the image of the University of Guam (UOG).
Design must be wholly original, any plagiarized design will be subject to disqualification.
By submitting a design, you are guaranteeing that you hold original rights to everything
in it, that it may be printed on distributed t-shirts, and that it does not contain
any copyright material.
Do not use any UOG logos.
Entries are to be submitted by an individual.

Entries should include the original file, a vector-based EPS file, a high resolution JPEG or PDF file.
Prefered file types: .eps, .svg, .ai, .psd
If you are unable to provide the file types above, high resolution .jpeg, .png, or .pdf will suffice
Deadline to submit your design will be on March 27, 2021, 11:59 p.m. (CHST+10), if entry passes the deadline, it will not be accepted.
Round 1: The Tech Fest Committee will select the final winner (1st place)
Round 2: The runner-up finalist (2nd place) will be decided by the community with the most votes on a poll that we will administer online.

We will announce the winners on our Instagram and will notify the winners via email (from firstname.lastname@example.org) on April 2, 2021.
To release the rights to your design to UOG/OIT for the use of the Tech Fest 2021 t-shirt and other promotional items, including, but not limited to: the UOG website, social media and marketing materials.
That UOG/OIT reserves the right to make adjustments to the winning designs.
