Associate Dean and Associate Professor Sharleen Santos-Bamba will present a recent publication of hers and Professor Anne Hattori's at a book event within an upcoming webinar on Asian American and Pacific Islander Women. 

Santos-Bamba and Hattori authored a chapter in the anthology "Our Voice, Our Histories: Asian American and Pacific Islander Women," published in 2020 by NYU Press. Their chapter is titled "Mother's Tongue: Language, Women, and the Chamorros of Guam."

The book event and webinar are being hosted by the Asian American Studies Program at the University of Massachusetts Boston and the Consortium for Graduate Studies in Gender, Culture, Women & Sexuality, housed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
