Society of Emeritus Professors & Retired Scholars
The Society of Emeritus Professors and Retired Scholars utilizes retired personnel in the areas of teaching, research and public service to promote the growth and increase the productivity of the University. Emeritus Hall is located in the MARC / Computer Center building in the UOG Campus.
Two students from CNAS, one from SOH, and one from SOE were awarded SEPRS Scholarships for the coming school year.
Hiroyasu Kurashina, emeritus director of the Micronesian Area Research Center at the University of Guam, on May 21 received the Order of the Sacred Treasure award from Japan.
Three University of Guam students were awarded $1,000 scholarships for the upcoming academic year by UOG's Society of Emeritus Professors & Retired Scholars.

Application for the SEPRS Scholarship (AY2023-2024) will open in May, 2023.
Eligible applicants may obtain application packets online at the UOG Financial Office’s website, https://www.uog.edu/financial-aid/scholarships after the official announcement to be made in early January, 2023.

The application deadline will be in late August 2023 at the UOG Financial Aid Office. The exact date will be announced by the UOG Financial Aid Office at a later date.
