COVID-19 Information & Processes

  1. Review the Finakpo' 2020 course schedule online at https://www.uog.edu/admissions/course-schedule.
  2. Log on to webadvisor and register online. Contact OIT at 735-2640 if you don’t have access to your webadvisor account.
  3. If you encounter an issue when attempting to register for courses online, send an email to admitme@triton.uog.edu using your gotritons email account and provide your UOG ID number
  4. Send an email to transcripts@triton.uog.edu to verify if you are registered for Finakpo' 2020 and request for a copy of your registration with the billing information.
COMMON ISSUES & SOLUTIONS
  • Advisement Restriction - If you have a current advisement restriction (Education, Nursing, Political Science majors), please connect with your advisors to send an email request as approval to admitme@triton.uog.edu for Admissions and Records Office to temporary lift this hold so you can proceed with registration.
  • Bursar Restriction - If you have a Bursar restriction, you must get clearance from Bursar’s Office to lift the hold. You may contact 735-2923/45/46 or bursar@triton.uog.edu for them to clear the restriction.
  • Repeating a Course - If you are registering for a course that you are repeating, send an email request to transcripts@triton.uog.edu for registration assistance.
  • Overload Request - If you are registering with overload credits (6 credits per session, maximum of 18 credits for the summer term), download the Course Overload Request form and get email approval from your academic advisor. Send the completed form to transcripts@triton.uog.edu with the email approval for registration assistance.
  • Other - If you have other restrictions, send an email to admitme@triton.uog.edu for assistance on how to get clearance.

All students must complete the Sexual Misconduct Training (SMT) online every academic year. This training only needs to be completed once each academic year.

  1. Make sure you have your student information. You will be asked to provide your gotriton email address and UOG ID number to either update or create your online training account.
  2. Contact moodlehelp@triton.uog.edu or 735-2620/21 to get a personal link to take the training online. 
  3. Provide proof of completion (certificate of completion) to admitme@triton.uog.edu to enter in the system to update your records.

In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a signed request is required to release transcripts.* Please follow the steps below to request a transcript. 

  1. Download and fill out the Transcript Request Form.
  2. Payment must be called-in to the Cashier – 735-2923/45/46 with your debit/credit or visa/debit card information readily available. Cashier's availability is Fridays ONLY from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. You may also contact Cashier for any inquiry regarding payment via email: bursar@triton.uog.edu. After making payment, ask for the receipt number from the Cashier and write it on the Transcript Request Form.
  3. Send the completed and signed form along with copy of your photo ID, via email to transcripts@triton.uog.edu. The transcript form includes instructions and the fee schedule. You may also mail or fax the form to the address below.
  4. To confirm that the Admissions and Records Office has received your transcript request, please email: transcripts@triton.uog.edu.

*Transcript Service Limitations

  • No pick-up service is available.
  • No one-hour service is available.
  • Transcripts may only be released via email, postage mail, and/or fax.
  • Official password protected transcripts are ONLY released to other institutions/employers and NOT to personal student emails.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Shipping Rates, including Priority and Express mail services, are based on current USPS postage rates.

You may voluntarily withdraw from classes until the extended deadline of April 15, 2020 though students are encouraged to seek advisement prior to officially withdrawing from courses. 

  1. Download and fill out the appropriate form below:
  2. Using your @gotritons email account, send the completed form with a copy of your photo ID to transcripts@triton.uog.edu for processing.*
  3. Upon receipt of the document, including approvals from both instructor and advisor, Admissions & Records will process the withdrawal and inform the student via email.
  4. If you have not received a notification that your withdrawal request has been processed, send a follow up email to transcripts@triton.uog.edu for the status of your request.

*IMPORTANT: Withdrawal request requires BOTH the instructor AND advisor's approval. We will accept the approval via email to transcripts@triton.uog.edu

Sexual Misconduct Training

ALL students must complete the Sexual Misconduct training in order to register for classes. This training only needs to be completed once each academic year.
