This seminar will offer insights on managing the human element of owning a small business. It will cover a range of HR related topics from conducting employee performance evaluation to handling complains and addressing issues dealing with employees. It will also offer tools and resources for small business to deal with HR in a more manageable manner to avoid issues. Other compliance topics to include Record Keeping, Disciplinary Actions, and Terminations.

 

This training will be conducted via Zoom. Advanced registration is required. You will need internet access, a laptop with camera and microphone to join this class. Prior to the training, it is recommended to sign up for a Zoom account https://zoom.us/signup and download the Zoom app from the Zoom Download Center https://zoom.us/download.

You can set up your own Zoom meeting to familiarize yourself with the Zoom meeting features. If you are experiencing difficulty, please visit the Zoom Help Center https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us for further guidance.

A day prior to the training, you will receive a separate email with instruction to log into Zoom. Please be sure to check your email from Guam SBDC. If you are not receiving any emails from SBDC, please check your junk or spam inbox. Also, you can view the information to log on under My Training at the e-Center Direct on your account. Materials will be posted in the same area.
