Engage with tropical island water scientists, managers, and community members from around the world at the International Tropical Islands Water Conference being held virtually from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time on April 12-15 (7 a.m. - 11 a.m. ChST, April 13-16).
The conference will provide a platform for discussion among scientists, resource managers, and community members from across the world to share cutting-edge research and learn from each other’s experiences managing and understanding water resources across a broad range of tropical island settings.
The Water & Environmental Research Institute at the University of Guam is the one of the four main water research institutes managing the conference, including the main organizers -- the Water Resources Research Center Hawaii and Hawai‘i EPSCoR ʻIke Wai -- and the Water Resources Research Institute in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The conference is also in collaboration with the U.S. Geological Survey's Water Resources Research Act program.
