Free public diagnostic clinic on fungal leaf diseases found on farms and in home gardens

Free public diagnostic clinic on fungal leaf diseases found on farms and in home gardens

UOG Agriculture and Life Sciences Building

Room 124
Mangilao, 96923

Hosted by: Dr. Robert Schlub and agricultural professionals from Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands

Bring your own leaf disease samples to be diagnosed, or examine one of the clinic samples on display. The clinic will begin with a short presentation on how to identify some of Guam’s common fungal leaf diseases. This will be followed by an equally short tour where participants can see and collect some of these diseases for themselves. Once the tour has ended, agricultural professionals will be on hand to assist with the diagnosis of plant samples.

The clinic is the culmination of three days of training for agricultural professionals in Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands, funded by the Western SARE Professional Development Program.

We recommend that you register for the clinic, however, it is not required. To register or for additional information, contact Extension Associate Julia Hudson by email at hudsonj13789@triton.uog.edu, or call 735-2072.
