Two Million Too Many?

On December 7, 1994 Guam welcomed its millionth arrival. 20 years later (FY 2014), Guam welcomed 1,341,054 visitors*. This was a 30% increase.

The tourism goal touted is 2 million tourists by 2020.  This represents an almost 50% increase in the next five years. If the plan succeed that means 700,000 more annual tourist arrivals.

*Fiscal year 2014 is now ranked as the third top fiscal year in Guam’s tourism history, making it the most arrivals in a year for this century!
