The University of Guam Women's Soccer Team opens the Guam Football Association's Bud Light Women's D2 League Playoffs on Sunday at 3:15 p.m. against FC Familia at the GFA National Training Center.

The Lady Tritons defeated FC Familia 4-1 to open the season and has an overall record of 3-1 and is the #2 Seed for the Championship Tournament. Familia is the #3 Seed. Team Slay is the #1 Seed with a 4-0 record and will take on #4 Seed Team Mosa's at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday.

UOG is the highest scoring team in the league with 22 goals scored and has allowed 8 goals on the season.

In their last game on Sunday, UOG defeated Team Mosa 10-3 with Ariya Cruz, Elisha Benavente and Mellanne Rasemussen all scoring two goals in the match while Aiesha Castro, Jestyn Sablan and Shaenia Torres all scored one goal each.

The Lady Tritons won the first GFA BL D2 League Championship in the Spring of 2017, defeating Team Slay 2-1 in the Championship Match. It was the first season for a GFA D2 Championship.
