Tritons Open Guam Men's College Basketball League With Easy Win
The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team opened their defense of the Guam Men's College Basketball League Championship with
                                 an easy 126-58 win over the Harvest Baptist Bible College squad on Saturday afternoon
                                 at the UOG Calvo Field House.
The Tritons are missing 34 points from their line-up from the fall semester, but found
                                 some new high scorers with Ryan Nangauta leading the way with 46 points and Geno Anderson
                                 adding 21 points and 13 rebounds. AJ Carlos had 7 steals in the game.
The Tritons jumped out to an early lead and never looked backed as they led 67-30
                                 at half-time and basically doubled the score in the 2nd half playing all 10 men on
                                 the squad. Roland Padock led HBBC with 15 points.
In the 2nd Guam Men's College Basketball League game of the day, the Guam Community
                                 College team defeated the UOG Trident Men's Basketball Club, 91-80.
On Tuesday, January 30th, the Tritons will face the GCC team at 6:15 p.m. while the
                                 Harvest Baptist Bible College faces Pacific Island University at 8:00 p.m.
