The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team had two members named to the Guam National Basketball Team for the first time. AJ Carlos and Rafael Sablan were named to the Guam National Team for the Micronesian Games in July on the island of Yap. Two former UOG players were also named to the team, with Billy Belger (Fall 2017) and Daren Hechanova (Spring 2016, 1st UOG Team in new era).

With the 2018 Micronesian Games quickly approaching, set to run from July 15 to 27 in Yap, the Guam National Men’s Basketball Team has been practicing with a purpose.
