The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team defeated Guam Community College 105-67 in the UOG Calvo Field House in a Guam Men's College Basketball League game on Monday night.

Tritons went to 6-0 in the league, with 2 games to go in the regular season and while the #1 Seed is not locked up mathematically, in practical terms, the Tritons should be the #1 Seed for the GMCBL Championship Tournament again.

And the Tritons have now won 26 games in a row for 2017-18 academic year and have scored 100+ points for each GMCBL game this season.

Ryan Nangauta led UOG with 22 points while Demadjeo Simon added 18 points and 14 rebounds and Anthony Castro scored 17. Anthony Brown scored 15 points with 9 rebounds and 9 assists for UOG. Ethan Algre scored 20 for GCC.

UOG is 6-0 in the league and will play the 2nd place UOG Trident MBC (3-2) next Monday, February 19 at 6:15 p.m. GCC is now 3-3 in the league and play Pacific Islands University (0-5) next Monday at 8:00 p.m. Both games are in the UOG Calvo Field House and admission is free.

In the 1st game of the evening, Harvest Baptist Bible College defeated Pacific Islands University 74-69 in a close game as PIU fell behind early, but three times in the game, the Tide came back to one point behind, but could never take a lead. Dinery Lorenzo led all scorers for PIU with 35 points and John Masao scored 27 for HBBC.
