UOG Men's Basketball Signs Lustene Francois From Miami, FL To UOG Letter of Intent

The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team signed Lustene Francois from Miami, FL to a UOG Letter of Intent to play basketball with the Tritons in 2018-19.

Francois, a 6'3" point guard, played his high school basketball at Palm Glades Preparatory Academy in Miami, FL with another UOG signee, Justin Lilavois.

Lustene played his freshman year at Carolina Christian College in Winston-Salem, NC where he helped start their basketball program on their inaugural team in 2017-18 and was a significant contributor on the team that went 10-15 last year.

At Palm Glades, Lustene was the top rebounder on the team and averaged 11.5 points per game. He had 5 double doubles as a senior who only played 11 games that season due to injury.

Francois was a honor roll student at Palm Glades and maintained a 3.00 GPA at Carolina Christian.

UOG was 30-0 in 2017-18 with 3 league championships and will return to the court in September to defend their title in the Guam Basketball Challenge at the Andersen Air Force Base Coral Reef Recreation Center.
