Kyle Legozzie scored four goals for UOG

UOG Men's Soccer Routs EuroCar FC 8-1 In The Jamaican Grill GFA Cup 2nd Round

The University of Guam Men's Soccer Team routed the EuroCar Football Club 8-1 in the 2nd Round of the Jamaican Grill Guam Football Association's Cup at the GFA National Training Center on Sunday night.

Jacque Drimbra had 5 assists for UOG

UOG opened the scoring as Shashi Kotwal put one in from close range to give UOG 1-0 lead early in the first half. But EuroCar did come back to tie the score at 1-1 before Kyle Legozzie gave UOG a 2-1 lead before half-time.

In the 2nd half, it was all Tritons as UOG scored often and missed several other point blank shots on the EuroCar goal as the Tritons' speed led to many break-away chances.

Kyle Legozzie led the Tritons with 4 goals with Shashi Kotwal, Dylan Naputi and Joe Quan scoring one goal each. EuroCar had one "Own" goal for the Tritons as well. Jacque Diambra had 5 assists for the Tritons.

UOG is now 14-4-1 on the season and advance to the Quarter-Finals of the GFA Cup next Saturday, June 16th at 8:00pm at the GFA National Training Center.
