Chemistry students at the University of Guam celebrated National Chemistry Week by wearing costumes for this year’s topic of outer space and the theme, “Chemistry is Out of This World.” Associate Professor of Chemistry Tedros Bezabeh encouraged his General Chemistry I students to celebrate chemistry by coming up with inspiring costumes for extra credit points. National Chemistry Week was launched by the American Chemical Society in 1989 to engage the community and inspire the exploration of all things chemistry.
