Calling all students passionate about health!

Prepare yourself for a career in finding solutions to today's major health issues through this undergraduate research-training program! 

The Build EXITO program, available to University of Guam freshmen through Portland State University, is now recruiting student scholars who are passionate about health issues and addressing health disparities. No prior research experience needed!

 To be eligible for the program, students must:

  • Be U.S. citizens, resident aliens, or non-citizen nationals.
  • Have completed at least one year of undergraduate course work at a community college or university by the end of Spring 2019 or by the Fall of 2019
  • Have three years remaining in their undergraduate degree program by the end of Spring 2019 (i.e., applicants will NOT graduate prior to Spring 2022)
  • Are enrolled full time (12 credits) at a BUILD EXITO Consortium Institution in Spring 2019 and Fall 2019
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher 

Applications are due by noon on Wednesday, Feb. 20.
