Emeritus professors of UOG award student scholarships
Three University of Guam students were awarded $1,000 scholarships for the upcoming academic year by UOG’s Society of Emeritus Professors & Retired Scholars. The recipients were sociology and psychology major Heather Ann Garrido, pre-nursing major Gabrielle Keh Gonzaga, and agriculture major Jianna Soriano. The awards were presented at the society’s second annual awards ceremony on April 27 at the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa. The scholarships were funded through donations from the members of the society.
