Board of Regents swears in Student Regent Mebric Navisaga
Mebric Navisaga was sworn in as student regent on the University of Guam Board of Regents on Aug. 12, 2019. He is completing the term of former Student Regent Annie Fay Camacho, who resigned when she graduated in May. The term expires on May 4, 2020.
Navisaga is a senior majoring in elementary education and is expecting to graduate in Fanuchånan 2020. He is president of the Blue Key Honor Society and is an active member in other student organizations including the American Marketing Association and Gearing Education for Maximum Service and volunteers as a student committee member in the Student Government Association.
The student regent is a full Board of Regents member who represents the student interests in the actions the Board of Regents addresses. The student regent also works with the Student Government Association, providing them feedback on actions taken or information provided.
