Guam Pro remains undefeated with win against Tridents
The University of Guam Trident Women’s Volleyball Club fell 3-0 to Guam Pro on Thursday night at the UOG Calvo Field House in the Trident Women’s Volleyball League.
The Tridents played well in the first set, losing 25-20, but the Guam Pro team expanded the point differential to 25-15 in the second set and ended the match with 25-17 in the third set.
Guam Pro leads the league with a 4-0 record, while the Tridents now fall to 1-3 for the season.
In the first match of the night, the Breakthrough club team defeated Guam Community College 3-0, with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, and 25-14.
Breakthrough moves to 3-1 on the season, while GCC remains winless at 0-4.
The teams will play their second to last regular game of the season this Thursday night with GCC taking on Guam Pro at 6:30 p.m. and the Tridents playing Breakthrough at 8:15 p.m. All action is in the UOG Calvo Field House with free admission.
