First baccalaureate graduation makes history in Yap

Two teachers in Yap received their bachelor's degrees in elementary education on Aug. 5 becoming the first graduates of two regional partnership programs between the University and the Federated States of Micronesia. The programs -- the Partnership BA Program and the Individualized Degree Program -- bring UOG faculty to the FSM over the summer to teach courses needed for working teachers to obtain their degrees.
