The Lady Tritons came out energized scoring eight points in the first five minutes. At the end of the first quarter, team Tritons pulled ahead 16-2. The Tritons then had a scoring run of 34-4.

Jan-Nasia Tavilla led the Tritons with 22 points and dominated the third quarter scoring 15 points, with four points coming from the free-throw line. Tavilla also grabbed six rebounds. Niah Siguenza was also one of the dominant players of the night scoring 18 points and snatching six rebounds.

For the Tridents, Justine Yeban scored 13 points, nine of which were from 3-point baskets made in the fourth quarter. Yeban also snatched seven rebounds.

The Lady Tritons are now 4-1 in the league, while the Tridents fall to 0-5.

In the first game of the night, Fuetsa Basketball Club dominated Team Legends with a score of 105-52. Elysia Perez led Fuetsa with 28 points, and Taneea Henderson scored 17 points. In addition, Babs Kuykendall grabbed a total of 11 rebounds.

Fuetsa is now 5-0 in the league and is ranked for first place, while Team Legends falls to 1-4.

The UOG Tritons play against Fuetsa Basketball Club for the second time in the regular season at 6:30 p.m. this Monday at the UOG Calvo Field House. Team Tritons will be making its revenge after losing to Fuetsa BC in their first game against each other. In the second game of the night, the UOG Recreation Program club team, the Tridents, will be taking on Team Legends at 8:15 p.m.
