The School of Engineering welcomes the following new full-time faculty members in the 2019-2020 academic year:

 

Jeffrey Y. ChengJeffrey Y. Cheng, Ph.D.

Cheng joins the School of Engineering as an associate professor of civil engineering. He was most recently at St. Cloud State University (Minn.), where he has served as an associate professor teaching engineering hydraulics, hydrology, engineering economy, construction management, and groundwater modeling since 2013. He is a licensed professional engineer with more than 25 years of engineering experience.

 Xiangxiong KongXiangxiong Kong, Ph.D.

Kong joined the School of Engineering in March as an assistant professor of civil engineering. He comes to Guam from SSOE Group, an architecture, engineering, and construction management firm in Hillsboro, Ore., where he worked as a structural engineer. Kong is a registered structural engineer and registered professional engineer.
