College can be intimidating when it comes to classes, finances, and knowing what direction to take with your degree and career -- especially if you're a first-generation or low-income student or a student with a disability.
The Student Support Services program through the UOG TRiO Office is here to help you and is now accepting applications to be part of the program.
Eligibility
- Enrolled as a UOG undergraduate student
- U.S. citizen or meet residency requirements for federal student financial aid
- Demonstrate academic need and be any of the following:
- low-income
- first-generation college student (neither parent has received a degree)
- a student with a physical and/or learning disability
Benefits of joining TRiO SSS
- academic tutoring
- advice and assistance in course selection
- assistance in completing the FAFSA
- information on financial aid programs
- cultural and career activities
- information on graduate and professional programs
