Attention Students: Important information for Finakpo' 2021

6/1/2021

Håfa Adai Tritons,

The University of Guam faculty, staff, and administrators are excited to welcome you back to the campus for the Finakpo’ Summer Sessions!

The memo from the President that you received on May 12 outlined what you can expect when in-person classes and when you come on campus. Read the memo here.

As we implement these new procedures, please know that it is not our intention to limit in-person classes or activities. These procedures will enable us to return to the campus while keeping the health and safety of students and employees as our foremost concern.

Below is additional guidance to the May 12 memo and some helpful links:

  1.  ALL students enrolled in face-to-face classes will be required to furnish either 1) proof of vaccination or 2) a weekly negative COVID-19 test. You can either submit copies of your documents to the Student Health Office OR online using our secure, HIPAA compliant form at: https://url.uog.edu/submit-covid-info

Students should provide verification of vaccination or negative test results before attending in-person classes. If you don’t have these documents, please proceed to the Student Health Office for more information.

  2.  FREE COVID-19 testing is available through the Department of Public Health & Social Services (DPHSS). For more information, please visit: https://dphss.guam.gov/covid-19-testing

  3.  UOG is working with DPHSS to provide on-campus testing. We hope to have this available to students and employees in the next few weeks.

  4.  FREE vaccination clinics are held at the UOG Calvo Field House and other locations around the island. You can view the schedule and make an appointment at: https://dphss.guam.gov/covid-19-vaccinations

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we work through these new procedures during the Finakpo’ Summer Sessions.

Welcome back and stay safe!
