Along Guam's coastline and beach shores, colorful and peculiar animals abound. But because of a lack of education involved in exploring these creatures, only a handful of marine biologists, scientists and park rangers have been able to identify these animals and their uses.
But, on Saturday morning, the Guam Wildlife Refuge at Ritidian Beach hosted the multi-event "Our Ocean Heritage" exhibit to educate the public about the island's ocean and coral reefs — complete with touch tanks that displayed common sea animals that were found on the shoreline just hours before the start of the exhibit.
