New Army pilot is a son of Micronesia

A 2019 University of Guam ROTC graduate is now one of the Army’s newest Apache helicopter pilots.
Lt. Elijah Iruul Funes Solang, formerly of Dededo, graduated from the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence in Fort Rucker, Ala.
