It was a tough defensive struggle throughout the match as both teams were scoreless at half time, but the Hybrid broke through late in second half to score both a touch and an extra point to go up 7-0 and held off the Tritons for the final few minutes to win the match.

In the second match of the day for the UOG squad, they took on the High Performance club, made up of Guam national team members, and while the Lady Tritons battled hard, they found themselves on the short end of a 42-0 score.

In their final match of the day, the UOG squad took on the Para Todu club in the early afternoon and found it tough going, ultimately taking a 32-0 loss.
