UOG Expertise: Dean Hattori-Uchima on advancing cardiometabolic health equity for Pacific Islanders
School of Health Dean Margaret Hattori-Uchima was featured on the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities website in a Q&A regarding research on cardiometabolic diseases in Guam and Pohnpei, minority health, health disparities, and health equity. Hattori-Uchima is also the contact principal investigator for the NIMHD U24 project, “A Cohort for Studying the Burden of Cardiometabolic Diseases in Guam and Pohnpei.”
