Is Artificial Insemination the Future for Coral Reefs?

Due to large coral bleaching events that have occurred across the planet, many scientists have started to consider artificial restoration methods for coral reefs.

One of them is marine biology master’s student D’amy Steward, who has been working on a project that allows for coral offspring to grow on ceramic beads with openings in them that are nestled within coral colonies.
