Lady Tritons’ Myranda Brogger scored 18 points during a Lady Triton - Global Learning Super League game against Team BallHers on Monday at the UOG Calvo Field House.

Lady Tritons' Amanda Uncangco scored 11 points in the fourth quarter to hold off a BallHers rally in a Lady Triton — Global Learning Super League game on Monday at the UOG Calvo Field House.

The University of Guam Women's Basketball Team defeated Team BallHers 63-56 in the Lady Triton – Global Learning Super League on Monday night at the UOG Calvo Field House. 

Although UOG had a slow start — falling behind BallHers 15-7 after the first quarter, the Lady Tritons gained momentum in the second and cut the lead to one point at halftime, 25-24. The Triton defense held BallHers to nine points in the third quarter, while the Triton offense scored 18 points to take the lead.

Amanda Uncanco exploded in the final 10 minutes of the fourth quarter, scoring 11 points for UOG. Maintaining a solid defense, the Lady Tritons held off any hopes of a rally and defeated BallHers with a final score of 63-56. 

Leading the Lady Tritons were Myranda Brogger with 18 points, Amanda Uncangco with 17, and Cori-Nicole Paulino with 11. Alana Salas scored 20 for the BallHers, and Maria Paulino added 14.

UOG moves to 4-2 in the Super League and are now tied with Acdavate for second place in the standings. BallHers falls to 1-5 in the league and stands in fifth place.

BallHers takes on the Lady Bombers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while UOG plays Team MIBBC next Monday night. Both games will be held at the UOG Calvo Field House.
