New chief information officer joins UOG
New chief information officer joins UOG

The University of Guam welcomes Vincent Dela Cruz as chief information officer.
Dela Cruz joined UOG from the Guam Department of Education where he held a 20-year
career as its data processing manager.
“I hope to provide the University with the necessary technology to connect our users and our research projects to local and global resources,” Dela Cruz said.
Dela Cruz also aims to strengthen the University's information technology infrastructure and data center to be resilient and secure, and to support UOG’s initiatives to improve customer service to students, faculty and staff.
Dela Cruz holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UOG and a master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.
